Madre Zoe is an intimate and moving work by photographer Constanza Oxenford, honoring Zoe Tobares, the woman who cared for her from childhood. Originating from the documentary photography exhibition of the same name, the book reflects on caregivers—women who take on a maternal role in other people’s homes and whose often invisible work forms part of many families’ memories.
