These terms apply only to purchases made at shop.diazortizediciones.com from outside Argentina, with international shipping. They do not apply to purchases made from within Argentina, which are governed by their own terms and by applicable Argentine law. By completing your purchase, you accept these terms.
Purchases from outside Argentina are paid in US dollars (USD) through PayPal. The listed price is for the book. The cost of international shipping is shown and added before you confirm payment. The listed price does not include import taxes or duties of the destination country.
International orders are shipped with DHL Express. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. It is important to provide a complete address, a phone number and an email address that are correct: incorrect details may cause delays or make delivery impossible. Delivery times are estimates and depend on DHL, the destination country and customs procedures. Díaz Ortiz Ediciones has no control over delays caused by DHL or by customs in the destination country.
Taxes, duties and customs charges in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility. They are set by each country's customs authority, not by Díaz Ortiz Ediciones or DHL, and the amount is not known at the time of purchase. DHL may ask for payment before delivering the package, and the shipment may be held until it is paid. You can check the amount due in DHL's notification or through the payment link on the shipment tracking page. Díaz Ortiz Ediciones does not refund taxes or duties paid at destination.
If the package arrives damaged, report it within 10 calendar days of receiving it by writing to [email protected] with your order number and photos of the package, the packaging and the book. If the claim is approved, the amount is refunded through PayPal.
You may request a return of the book within 10 calendar days of receiving it. If the book arrives defective or is not the one you ordered, Díaz Ortiz Ediciones covers the return shipping and refunds the price of the book and the shipping cost. If you change your mind about the purchase, or if you decide not to pay the import taxes, return shipping is at your own expense and only the price of the book is refunded: the shipping cost is not refunded. Taxes and duties paid at destination are not refunded.
Write to [email protected] with your order number and the reason for the return. Wait for Díaz Ortiz Ediciones to confirm and send you the return address: returns sent without prior notice are not accepted. Send the book unused and in the same condition in which you received it, in its packaging.
All refunds are made through PayPal, to the same account used to pay for the purchase. They are issued once Díaz Ortiz Ediciones receives and inspects the returned book or, for shipping damage claims, once the claim has been approved based on the photos provided. The time it takes for the amount to be credited depends on PayPal.
